Valentine's Day is upon us, normally I'm not one to celebrate this holiday but this year I'm really looking forward to it. Not because I'm attached, but for the festive outfits! Duh. Another Valentine's Day with my dog, Bella. I'm not even mad about it. I use the entire month to celebrate. Taking special treats to work, wearing pinks and reds, heart earrings, etc. So I definitely get my fill and I'm going to give you yours too!
Whether you're a single girl celebrating at home with a glass of wine and your dog, spending it with your gals, or having a romantic with your beau; Gia Rose has you covered!
Valentine's Night In

Staying in? You need this hot pink pajama set. It's feels so soft and cozy, and is cute enough to post on Instagram. (#galentinesday) Host a Bachelor watch party with your girlfriends and require pj's so everyone's their most comfortable. Make a cheeseboard and let the wine flow! This is also a great option for the single ladies spending v-day alone. "Staying in is the new going out" is my motto! I'm a homebody, so when this came in, I snagged it immediately! Like fresh out of the box, didn't even have tags yet. Perks of the job. I wear it with leggings, joggers, and sleep shorts. All the comfy stay-at-home vibes. But you could also wear it with a pair of jeans if you want to share the message outside of your home. Either of these options will help you to feel cute and comfy while binging romcoms and eating heart shaped chocolates you bought yourself. It sounds sad, but I call it self-care!
Daytime Looks

Calling my teacher girls! I love this casual valentine's day look. This is the best look for your classroom party. The red jeans are festive and the leopard is well...it's leopard. Top it off with these stylish white booties that are going to stay "in" all Spring long and you're set to go!

Tossing a Kimono over a slinky cami and jeans is an easy date night look!
Date Night

Okay, in my fantasy world where I'm dating Michael B. Jordan on Valentine's Day, I'm wearing this dress. The longer sleeves ward off the chill, and the swiss dot print in the daring red and a v-neck is perfect for dinner at a fancy restaurant or on a chartered yacht with MBJ. If it's super chilly, because ya know Kansas weather, you could totally wear black tights and back boots with it!

How fun is this blue velvet dress?! If you're not into the bright red or want to go for a nontraditional look, this one is for you. I love it with the white booties but you could dress it down with an over the knee boot and floppy hat for a daytime date that Alexis Rose would approve of.

Maybe your date night is more casual. Ernesto's take out (we are in a pandemic) or a local restaurant where you don't have to dress to the nines. I'm obsessed with this empire waist top in blush. You can wear it with denim or dress it up with leather leggings! Toss your hair into a messy pony or low bun with some statement earrings and you've got a chic, casual date night outfit. Blush is a little more subtle than red too so you'll get more wear out of this.
If you're not into wearing pinks or reds on Valentine's Day and you want something more neutral. No sweat! Try something like the v-neck, Dalmatian print blouse with some ruffle details on the sleeve. Wear this with some distressed black skinnies and black heels. *chefs kiss*
Spending the day with your gals

Spending the holiday with your gals? No worries! Wear this cool laid back look to a winery day with your girls. The leopard midi skirt in blush hints to the festiveness of the day, but it's toned down with a graphic tee, the jean jacket adds another layer to complete the outfit and keep you warm against any Spring chill. In fact, I'd actually pair it with the graphic tee featuring the ultimate girl gang the girls from Sex and the City! Shop it here. I always reflect on Carrie saying her girlfriends are her soulmates in the show. So true!
