Styling a Pink Spring Blazer

Styling a Pink Spring Blazer

I can generally categorize ladies into two categories blazer girls and cardigan girls. I, for example, am a blazer girl. No hate to the cardis!! I own a few, but I feel so much more put together in a blazer. A blazer is timeless and even though they’re trendy now, they will always and forever be something you can add to an outfit to spice it up.

Right now blazers are out in many different styles, colors, patterns, and fabrics. Since it’s Spring and almost Summer, this light linen blend pink blazer is just what you need to spruce up your wardrobe.

The soft pink blazer is a lightweight, longer Spring blazer that can be dressed up or down! You can see it styled with a graphic tee and jeans above. This is the perfect teacher get up, professional but easily transitioned from the classroom to recess. A lot of times you hear blazer and you think of a stuffy professional and that just isn’t the case. She even styled it with these adorable floral sneakers. The colors are so Springy--it's hard to have a bad day when wearing this 'fit.

Another option for styling this blazer is pairing it with a swingy, t-shirt dress! The Viscose Midi-Tee dress in white would look darling paired with this blazer. This is a good option for a church outfit, as a shower guest, or even to wear to work.

Remember matching sets? Step it up and pair the blazer with a matching bottom! Skirts, shorts, or a linen pant. Something about a 2 piece matching set makes me giddy. It feel so chic and put together but also not like you’re trying too hard.

If matchy matchy isn’t your thing, wearing your blazer with a basic top and boyfriend shorts is a super cute and comfortable alternative! I’d wear this outfit to work, because I work in a boutique, but if I was going out to dinner or having Happy Hour with my girlfriends this outfit would work for that too. Jeans and a blazer seem more “Fall/Winter” but on the right Spring or Summer day or if you’re spending a significant amount of time indoors with the AC blasting, it’s totally fine for Summer.
