Homemade Jewelry Makes A Personal Statement
‘Tis the season for bland, monochromatic clothing - but I think it’s the best time to debut some new statement jewelry! Some mornings I have trouble getting out of the coziness of my bed (ok, most mornings) and sometimes the last thing I want to have to think about is what I’m wearing that day - except for jewelry. I don’t know about you, but I tend to gravitate more towards homemade jewelry because it’s so unique and I feel like that person made it especially for me.
Ok, necklaces. I have SO many necklaces, but like everyone else, I have my favorites. When I’m wearing a big, cozy sweater, I always gravitate towards BIG pieces, like the Natural Coconut Necklace or the Ivory Mustard Navy Necklace. They look great & keep my hands busy when I’m feeling fidgety!
When I’m layering, or need to dress for a business meeting, I try to keep my look simple and classic. The Self Love Necklace is my absolute FAVE because not only does it look cute, but the messaging behind it reminds me that I am a powerful, courageous, graceful force who deserves limitless love. And sometimes we all need that reminder that our beauty is more than just what’s on the surface.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried getting ready to go out and hate everything I own. When that happens, I throw on my Ivory Ceramic & Brass Necklace. I can’t tell you how many compliments I receive on it. It’s so unique and I’m honestly thinking about getting one for my sister because she’s always trying to “borrow” it from me.
Cold days always have me dreaming of warmer weather, even though one of my favorite things to do is cuddle up on the couch with my furbaby. When I’m longing for daylight past 4pm, I like to wear my Pura Vida Rising Sun Bracelet (and scroll through my sunrise pics on Insta). It lets me reminisce on my summertime adventures, drinking cocktails with my girls, or taking in the view after a gorgeous hike.
Now that the holidays are dangerously close, I need to start thinking about what I’m going to wear so when my judgemental aunt is asking why I’m single, I can at least look good. I love love love the Blush Multi Strand Bracelet. I’ll probably wear it all winter. It’s got that faint sparkle from the beading, but isn’t so over-the-top that I can wear it to work or out on a date.
It’s really hard to find earrings I want to wear when I’m wearing a facemask. I don’t normally gravitate towards dangling earrings, and instead stick to studs, BUT HAVE YOU SEEN the Seed Bead Fringe Earrings? They’re lightweight, so they don’t pull on my ears, and I can literally wear them anywhere.
When I do wear studs, I like to stick to simple ones that make a statement, like the Blank Slate Earrings. I’m never afraid of new beginnings when I wear these, and they’re so effortlessly stylish.
