Graduation Looks

Graduation day is a big day for a girl. It signifies the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Looking and feeling your best on a day like graduation day is so important. You also want to look timeless, because what’s worse than looking back on your graduation photos and thinking “WHAT WAS I THINKING?!”because you were somehow too trendy or whatever the case may be. Whether it’s high school or college, graduation is IMPORTANT and you want to feel that way so I rounded up a few graduation looks for ya.

For graduation, I like to keep it short. Maxi and midi dresses can often add too much bulk underneath the graduation gown and stick out the bottom...not a good look. This blue dress is lightweight and silky smooth so it will go so well under your gown. If you’re a PHS graduate, you NEED this dress.

Even the leopard shoes make a statement! This whole look 10/10 would recommend for graduation.

Next, thisPeached Spring Dress is to die for.The Peached Spring Dress is an empire waist short sleeved floral dress with the most darling ruffle detailing. Peach and neutral floral print with hints of blue. Keyhole, button closure at the back. Hits right above the knee so perfect for graduation!!

The rose gold platform sandals are super comfy and add some height for us shorties in the cap in gown.

It isn't Summer without some blue and white stripes! Gia Rose has two options for this trend. The Notebook Noah dress is perfect for graduation it's got nice short sleeves and buttons down the front and the cut is super flattering. The See You There dress is a sassy version of the Notebook dress, it's off the shoulder and has a tie in the front for some flair. Definitely the dress you want to wear to party all night in.

I know I said you don’t want to betoo trendy but theserompers are so cute, breezy and just trendy enough that you won’t regret it 15 years from now. Even if you wear a fancier dress to the ceremony and grab a romper for your graduation party, you can’t go wrong. The Brushed Romper in Ash Mocha (also comes in greenand black) is something that can and should be worn all the time. Graduation parties, lounging, camping, running errands, nights out, you name it. The fabric is so soft and it's versatile enough to be dressed up or down.

Graduation is 2021 looks different than it did in previous years, so there's truly no right or wrong thing to wear. I'm pretty sure in 2020 so graduations were conducted over Zoom and if that was the case this year I'd be sharing all the matching pj sets. There's still plenty of time to get your graduation outfits for all the upcoming festivities! You can shop these looks and more at www.giarose.com or in store.

Congrats to the 2021 Graduates!! May your futures be bright and fashionable.

XO,
